Adding Registered Students

We are almost done. By now you have done all the necessary settings and have added all the various employees, batches to the system. Its finally time to add Students into the system.

Students Menu Option

There are two ways in which you can add students, you can

  • Add individual students one-by-one.

  • Import Student Data and add enrolled students into the system in one go.

Lets take a look at each process below.

Add Students Individually

To add students individually you need to follow these steps:

  1. Press the Students List sub-menu option inside the Students menu option. Once on the screen, you will see the list of all students already present in the system. Since we are just starting, you will not see any registered students here.

  2. In order to add new student, press the "+" button at the bottom right corner of your screen.

  3. You will then be taken to Add Student Screen, where you just need to provide all the necessary information of the student.

  4. Once done, press on the Save button, the student will be added to the system

The student is now successfully registered. They can now login to EduCoach app and start using it. This option is useful when you have to add few students. We understand that when you are just starting, adding many students of your institute this way can be a tiresome process, so to simplify this we have also provided you with the option to Import Student Data through excel file.

Import Students Data

This option is ideal when you need to add lots of students. To do this you need to follow these steps:

  1. Select the Import Students Data option under the Students menu option in the side menu.

  2. The steps needed to import the students in bulk are mentioned there for your quick attention.

  3. Follow the steps carefully and you will be able to import all the students in one go.

The above method will make it simple for you to add all the students of your institute to the system quickly.

Once students have been added to the system, they are all set to use EduCoach app. You can now inform Students that they can download and install EduCoach from Play Store on their android smartphones. Once installed, they will simply need to login using their registered mobile number. When they try to login for the first time, they will be prompted to set password for their accounts and their number will be OTP verified for additional security.
